Wachusett Respiratory Care Unit (formerly known as Wachusett Extended Care Facility) at Holden Rehab is a premiere provider for medically complex residents and proud to be the most experienced Chronic Ventilator Facility in the central Massachusetts area. Our brand new state of the art unit has 41 beds. We have been caring for ages 22 to geriatric with complex needs for over 20 years. Our areas of expertise includes:

  • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease)
  • Spinal Cord Injuries
  • Anoxic/Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

Wachusett Respiratory Care Unit is a Medicare and Medicaid certified provider, contracted with the Veteran’s Administration, Blue Cross, Fallon Community Health Plan and accepts most insurance plans.
