Eugene L. Oriol(1927 - 1990), the founder and first administrator of Holden Rehab and Nursing Center, established the high standard of quality care that is still carefully delivered at all Oriol Health Care facilities. Holden Nursing Home(established in 1965), Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center(1985), and Wachusett Extended Care(1991), serves residents who need a high level of medical care. This is consistent with Mr. Oriol's vision for providing health care that is safe, comfortable and dignified for our residents and rewarding for professional and dedicated employees.

Built on Tradition
Oriol Health Care continues to be family owned and operated. We take pride in being the only second generation operated Health Care organization in the Worcester area. The two principals, Robert & David Oriol, are on site and run the day to day business.This is unique. Today, most Health Care Facilities are investor owned and the owner is usually out of state. As a result, Health Care today is big business. Families long for the old days when health care was personal and the patient was important. We represent a long tradition of quality care. Concerns for our residents and the community are what matters most.
