Sandra Bauer Mahoney, FACHCA

Sandy Mahoney started her career in health care as a Registered Dietitian, having completed her undergraduate work at the University of California, Davis and a postgraduate internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She completed her Master's Degree in Health Care Administration at Clark University in Worcester. After working in hospitals for more than 20 years, she moved to the long term care setting, and has been licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator for more than 10 years. She has worked as a Nursing Home Administrator, and as a Nursing Home Consultant in proprietary and not-for-profit Long Term Care centers.

Charlotte Farnsworth, RN

Charlotte became the Director of Nursing Services at Wachusett Extended Care Facility in December 2011. She graduated from the Newton-Wellesley School of Nursing and has worked in long-term care for 20 years. Charlotte has over 12 years of experience as a Director of Nursing Services.

We represent a long tradition of quality family care. Oriol Health Care continues to be family owned and operated. We take pride in being the only second generation operated health care organization in the Worcester area. The two principals, brothers Robert & David Oriol, are on site Administrators and manage the day to day operations.

This is unique in that today, most health care facilities are investor-owned and the owner is usually out of state or not present at the facility. For the families that long for the "old days" when health care was more personal and the patient was important; the Oriol tradition shows that caring for our residents, their families and the community are what will always matter the most.
