Sandra Bauer Mahoney

Administrator of Wachusett Extended Care Facility

Sandy Mahoney started her career in health care as a Registered Dietitian, having completed her undergraduate work at the University of California, Davis and a postgraduate internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She completed her Master's Degree in Health Care Administration at Clark University in Worcester. After working in hospitals for more than 20 years, she moved to the long term care setting, and has been licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator for 10 years. She has worked as a Nursing Home Administrator, and as a Nursing Home Consultant in proprietary and not-for-profit Long Term Care centers.

 

Dawn Auger, RN

Director of Nursing Services of Wachusett Extended Care Facility

Dawn Auger RN has been a staff member of Oriol Health Care since 1981. She began by volunteering in the Activities Department at the age of fourteen, then started her Oriol career as a Dietary Aide at the Holden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She then went on to become a Nurse's Aide, and then as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Holden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Dawn advanced her career as a Registered Nurse while at the Wachusett Extended Care Facility, and was promoted to her present role as the Director of Nursing Services. She brings to Oriol Health Care many years of caring, that includes advocating for the welfare of clinically complex and ventilator dependent residents of the Wachusett Extended Care Facility.
