On June 10, we honored the 2025 Eugene Oriol Memorial Scholarship winners at Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center. The celebration reflects our promise to the Wachusett community: “Our family taking care of yours.”
Meet the Winners
Community Scholarship – Cassina Pingitore
Cassina, a Wachusett Regional graduate, will pursue a Physician Assistant degree. She explains, “Science and service give my life purpose, and healthcare unites them.”

Lishu serves patients in our Wachusett Respiratory Care Unit. She is advancing from CNA to RN so she can advocate even more for every patient’s recovery.
Why These Scholarships Matter
These awards help talented people grow while staying local. That means better care for Holden, Paxton, Princeton, Rutland, Sterling, Boylston, West Boylston, and Worcester. It also builds a stronger workforce ready for future health challenges.
