At Oriol Health Care, we know that quality care begins with strong, compassionate caregivers—and that building the next generation of health professionals takes true partnership.
We’re proud to announce a new formal collaboration with Anna Maria College, through a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), to enhance clinical education partnerships in Central Massachusetts. This agreement deepens our shared commitment to patient-centered care and offers students real-world experience across Oriol Health Care’s award-winning continuum of services.
“This collaboration is rooted in shared values of service, education, and innovation,” said Bob Oriol, President and CEO of Oriol Health Care. “We’re proud to partner with Anna Maria College and welcome students as part of our continued investment in caregiving excellence.”
Two Signing Ceremonies, One Shared Vision
To commemorate the partnership, Oriol Health Care hosted two signing events with Anna Maria leadership.
The first took place at Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center, where Oriol leadership joined Mary Lou Retelle, President of Anna Maria College, Dr. Emily K. Cabrera, Dean of Nursing and Health Sciences, and her colleagues Dr. May Mba and David Armstrong to formally sign the MOU.
The second event was held at Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center and included Dr. Chioma Ugochukwu, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Cabrera; David Armstrong; and leadership from Oakdale and Oriol Health Care.
“Our partnership with Oriol Health Care aligns perfectly with our mission to prepare students for meaningful service and leadership in the community,” said Dr. Cabrera. “By expanding access to high-quality clinical placements in real-world settings, we are investing in the future of patient care, right here in Central Massachusetts.”
Real Experience in Real Communities
This partnership reflects what Oriol Health Care has always believed in—education, excellence, and community connection. For over 60 years, our family has been committed to taking care of yours, and we’re honored to support the development of future caregivers while continuing to serve the residents and families who rely on us.
“This is more than a partnership—it’s a bridge between academic learning and the heart of patient care,” said David H. Oriol, Chief Strategy Officer. “We’re proud to be part of the journey for these students and proud to share our legacy of excellence with the next generation.”
Through this collaboration, students will gain valuable insight and experience across multiple disciplines, including nursing, healthcare administration, social work, emergency management, and mental health, helping shape the well-rounded professionals our communities need.
At Oriol Health Care, we are proud to continue our legacy of Health Care Excellence by investing in education, building workforce pipelines, and nurturing a culture of mentorship and care. We look forward to watching this partnership grow and to welcoming more Anna Maria students into our extended Oriol family.
