Diabetes Education, Support Group Starts Sept. 5

HOLDEN — The fall series of Oriol Health Care’s Diabetes Education and Support Group begins Sept. 5.

Dietitian Abbi Wood will discuss fall seasonal produce choices, along with a cooking demonstration.

The Oct. 3 topic will be health maintenance and management when living with diabetes.

Nov. 7, the topic will be medications to manage your diabetes.

Each meeting will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and include handouts and a light dinner. Meetings are held in the Community Room at Holden Rehab, 32 Mayo Drive. Dinner is at 6 p.m., and the evening’s presentation starts immediately afterward.
