Oriol Health Care Announces Expansion of Health Services in Holden

June 11, 2024/in Community, News, Press Releases/by Angelique Harvey

The Oriol family announces the first step of its expansion at their Holden Campus.  Founded by Eugene Oriol of Holden, Oriol has been serving the community since 1964. Oriol owns and operates Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center, Oriol Home Health,  and Oriol Outpatient Therapy. Oriol is a recognized healthcare leader in both the Worcester and Wachusett communities and throughout New England.

Since acquiring the former Holden District Hospital property, Oriol has demonstrated its commitment to the community by providing, improving, and expanding public access to health care services on the site.

Commencing later this month, work will begin on utility upgrades and site improvements on the upper portion of the Holden campus. This work is associated with the proposed renovations and reuse of the former hospital building. During this time, temporary changes to vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns may occur. Oriol asks the public to exercise extreme caution while visiting the site.

Oriol will collaborate with local, regional, and state planning and economic development officials. In addition, Oriol will be consulting engineers and community focus groups, in preparing plans for future development of the campus.
