On a beautiful summer evening, Oriol Health Care welcomed residents, families, neighbors, community partners, and friends to Swing Into Wellness at Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center.
While the event celebrated health, movement, and wellness, it also represented something even more meaningful—the return of community events to our campuses.
For decades, Oriol Health Care has believed our facilities should be more than places where care is provided. They should be welcoming spaces where people gather, relationships are built, and wellness is celebrated. Before the pandemic, our campuses regularly hosted educational programs, wellness initiatives, celebrations, and community gatherings. Swing Into Wellness marked an exciting step toward bringing those opportunities back.
Introducing a New Rehabilitation Partnership
Swing Into Wellness also marked the official introduction of the new rehabilitation partnership between Oriol Therapy Services and Preferred Therapy Solutions.
Together, Oriol Therapy Services and Preferred Therapy Solutions combine the strength of a trusted, family-owned healthcare organization with evidence-based rehabilitation management to deliver exceptional Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services. Through personalized, one-on-one care, our therapists help individuals regain strength, restore function, build confidence, and achieve meaningful independence—whether recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or managing a chronic condition.
Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to meet members of the therapy team, learn more about our rehabilitation services, and experience firsthand our shared commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Healing Beyond the Therapy Gym
One of the evening’s highlights was Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center‘s beautiful outdoor courtyard and putting green—a space that reflects our belief that healing extends beyond the walls of the therapy gym.
Thoughtfully designed to encourage movement, recreation, and social connection, the courtyard provides residents and patients with opportunities to practice balance, mobility, coordination, and endurance while enjoying fresh air in a welcoming, home-like environment. Whether participating in therapy activities, enjoying a friendly putting competition, visiting with family, or simply relaxing outdoors, these spaces support both physical recovery and emotional well-being.
It’s just one example of the person-centered approach that has helped make Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center an award-winning destination for rehabilitation and skilled nursing care.
Strengthening Our Commitment to the Community
Our commitment to the community extends far beyond the care we provide each day. Through the Oriol Foundation, we proudly support caregiver and grief support groups, scholarships, community wellness initiatives, and programs that strengthen the communities we serve.
Swing Into Wellness reflects that same commitment—creating opportunities for neighbors, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners to come together in a welcoming environment focused on health, education, and connection.
We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for the evening, to our friends at Preferred Therapy Solutions, and to our dedicated team members who helped make the event possible.
Most importantly, this is just the beginning.
In the months ahead, we look forward to welcoming the community back to our campuses for additional wellness events, educational programs, family activities, support groups, and community gatherings. Whether you’re a resident, patient, caregiver, family member, healthcare professional, or neighbor, we hope you’ll join us.
Thank you for being part of our community.
We look forward to welcoming you back soon—because at Oriol Health Care, our facilities are more than places to receive care. They’re places to connect, learn, heal, and belong.
Our family taking care of yours.
